One Perry Middle School student, one Perry Middle School staff member and one Perry Elementary School staff member tested positive Dec. 22 for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, according to PCSD Superintendent Clark Wicks.
In addition, four students have entered 14-day quarantined, Wicks said.
All students and families in contact with the student and staff have been notified, he said, and all other students can attend classes as normal.
The school district’s current positive case count is 14 students and four adults, a prevalence rate of about 1%.
The SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 37 students and 10 staff members since classes began Aug. 19 in the PCSD, according to communications from the PCSD. The list of cases follows.
