Three Perry High School students test positive for COVID-19

Perry Community School District Superintendent Clark Wicks has announced that three students at the Perry High School tested positive Wednesday for SARS-CoV-2, the virus causes COVID-19.

In addition, three close contacts of the students were placed in quarantine, Wicks said. He said that all students and families in contact with the students have been notified, and all other students can attend classes as normal.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 52 students and 19 staff members since classes began Aug. 19 in the PCSD, according to communications from the PCSD. The list of cases follows.
