A three-vehicle, head-on collision blocked traffic for about one hour on Iowa Highway 141 just west of the Raccoon River bridge Tuesday evening.
The number and extent of injuries, if any, are unknown at this hour.
The collision, reported about 6:15 p.m., involved an SUV, a pickup truck and a passenger car. All three vehicles appeared to sustain significant front-end damage.
The roadway was cleared and reopened to traffic shortly after 7 p.m.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the cause of the accident at this hour.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded.
