Residents of Perry were reminded by the Perry City Hall Tuesday morning that the Fourth of July changes to the city garbage collection schedule means garbage normally picked up on Thursdays will be picked up this week on Wednesday, July 3.
The Friday garbage collection schedule will be unchanged, the city said.
In addition, residents are reminded that all city offices, the Perry Public Library, the McCreary Community Building and the Perry Water Works office will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day Holiday.
There will be no yard waste pickup on Wednesday, July 3.
Yard waste pickup will resume with the following schedule in July:
- July 10, South side of Willis Avenue
- July 17, North side of Willis Avenue
- July 24, South side of Willis Avenue
- July 31, North side of Willis Avenue
