Travis Alan Clark passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, after a long battle with kidney disease.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, with the Rev. Heidi Farmer officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and continue until the time of service.
Travis was born on April 4, 1973, to Linda Houwen and Francis Clark in Cherokee, Iowa.
He graduated from Anita High School in 1992 and was united in marriage with Kristina (Tina) Krell on June 25, 2016, in Ogden.
Travis held many jobs over the years and met many people. He never met a stranger and helped others in as many ways as he could.
He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed laughing and made others laugh with him.
Travis was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Warriner; his grandmother, Rosie Schroeder; his grandpa, Frank Houwen; his grandpa, Warren Schroeder; his grandparents, Vernon and Viola Warriner; his father-in-law, James Krell; and his nephew, Alex Macias.
He is survived by his wife, Kristina (Tina) of Ogden; his mother, Linda Warriner of Perry; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Krell; his sisters, Terri and Tomas Macias of Perry, Toni Klemish of Perry, Trisha and Scott Bosler of Perry, Krista Espinoza of Perry, Tammy Clark of Goodwell, Oklahoma and Teresa and Gerardo Gonzalez of Guymon, Oklahoma; his aunts, Connie Rahbusch of Sioux Center and Sandy Kruger of Sibley; his uncle, Randy, and aunt, Donna Reed of Aurelia; many nieces and nephews: as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Flowers may be sent to the Community United Methodist Church at 337 S.W. Second St., Ogden, IA 50212. The service will be live-streamed on the Ogden Community United Methodist Church YouTube channel.
