STATE CENTER — Game scores of 25-21, 25-9, and 25-10 lifted West Marshall to a 3-0 sweep over visiting Perry in HOIC volleyball Thursday.
Kathryn West had six kills to led the Perry attack, with Callie Steva and Kimberly Castillo making two kills apiece. Single kills were recorded by Ashley Cerna, Maci Tunink, and Kaitlyn Leber.
Taylor Atwell produced 10 assists, with Peyton Tunink and Castillo having one each.
Nine digs from Addison Huntington led the Jayette defensive efforts, with Atwell having five and Leber four. Steva and Cerna each had three digs and West and Aidyn Hood one.
Perry served 36-of-42 (86 percent) with three aces as a team. Atwell was 7-7-1, Leber 5-6-1 and Huntington 4-5-1. Castillo was 8-of-11 behind the line, West 7-of-8, Steva 4-of-4, and Cerna 1-of-1.
Perry will compete in the AC/GC Tournament Saturday before hosting Roland-Story Tuesday.
