Twelve deaths, 340 new COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified Tuesday of 12 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 367. An additional 340 positive cases were reported for a total of 15,296 positive cases, including 795 in Dallas County.

According to IDPH data, 21.7% of the 3,685 tests administered in Dallas County were positive, with 432 people recovered and 11 deaths. Dallas County is sixth statewide in number of deaths.
