One student in the Adel-De Soto-Minburn High School and one student in the ADM Middle School tested positive this week for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe has announced.
The high school student tested positive Tuesday, Jan. 5, and the middle school student tested positive Wednesday, Jan. 6, Dufoe said.
No other persons were quarantined as close contacts of the infected students.
The ADM Community School District had about 1,900 students enrolled in 2019, with about 500 in the high school. The district’s ongoing virus-mitigation strategies can be reviewed on the ADM dashboard.
