Two arrested without incident in east Perry Tuesday

Officers of the Perry Police Department arrested two women in the 800 block of William Street in Perry about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Heather Ann Corrigan, 35, 2917 Kading Road, Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation on original charges of three counts of violation of no-contact order.

Corrigan was arrested by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office April 10 on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial hearing on an original charge of trespass and again July 3 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office on a warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

Tasha Alberta Jackson, 23, 502 W. Market St., Panora, was arrested Tuesday on an Iowa Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation on an original charge of attempted third-degree burglary.

Both women were turned over to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office and transported to the Dallas County Jail, according to a spokesperson for the Perry Police Department. The Iowa Department of Corrections was notified of Jackson’s whereabouts.

Greg Miller of Woodward, manager of the William Street rental units, said he “heard somebody had a gun and was threatening to kill everybody.” There were no weapons involved in the incident, according to police reports.
