Two-car mishap clogs local arterial road in Perry Wednesday

Two passenger vehicles collided at Eighth Street and Otley Avenue at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, slowing traffic on one of Perry’s primary roads feeding the Iowa Highway 141 bypass.

Perry Police, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded to the incident.

The circumstances of the mishap, involving a four-door car and an SUV, are unclear at this hour.
