Two-hour late start Tuesday for PCSD; DMACC to start at 10 a.m.

The Perry Community School District’s certified enrollment is more than 1,800 students, with a 96% graduation rate and daily attendance at 94.5%.

Due to winter weather conditions, the Perry Community School District will start classes two hours late Tuesday morning, the district announced this morning. There will be no morning preschool in the PCSD.

St. Patrick Catholic School will also start two hours late, a school spokesperson said. There will be no morning Gingerbread Preschool. Breakfast will not be served, and sixth, seventh and eighth grade students should report directly to St. Patrick School.

In-person classes at all Des Moines Area Community College locations will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the district said. Online classes will meet as scheduled.
