A pickup truck and SUV collided shortly after 2 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and First Avenue in Perry.
The Perry Police Department responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged to examine child passengers involved in the incident.

This intersection needs to be redesigned by the Iowa DOT. Many accidents have taken place there because of lack of turning lanes and poor signage.
