A two-vehicle collision occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and Iowa Highway 141 east of Perry. The Dallas County EMS was treating victims at the scene.

A two-vehicle collision occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and Iowa Highway 141 east of Perry.

The Dallas County EMS was treating victims at the scene, but the extent of injuries, if any, is unknown at this hour.

A passenger minivan and a Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck collided in the vicinity of the intersection. The circumstances of the mishap are unknown at this hour, but the Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating.

The minivan came to rest along U.S. Highway 169, on the north side of the eastbound on ramp to Iowa Highway 141. The vehicle appeared to contain multiple occupants, including children.

The pickup struck a bridge support on the U.S. Highway 169 underpass.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Bouton Volunteer Fire Department and Woodward Volunteer Fire Department responded to the incident.
