The Perry Community School District, St. Patrick’s Catholic School and numerous other Perry-area school districts cancelled Tuesday classes Tuesday due to inclement winter weather.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for central Iowa until noon Tuesday.
Along with the Perry Schools and St. Pat’s, classes are postponed until 10 a.m. Tuesday at Adair-Casey.Guthrie Center Schools, Adel-De Soto-Minburn Schools, Boone Public and Parochial Schools, Coon Rapids-Bayard Schools, Dallas Center-Grimes School, Earlham Schools, Glidden-Ralston Schools, Greene County Community Schools, Guthrie Center Schools, Johnston Schools, Madrid Schools, Ogden Schools, Panorama Schools, Paton-Churdan Schools, Urbandale Schools, Van Meter Schools, Waukee Schools, West Central Valley Schools, West Des Moines Schools, Woodward Academy and Woodward-Granger Schools.
Dallas County HIRTA and Dallas County Home Care Services, including Meals on Wheels, have cancelled services for Tuesday.
Guthrie County Meals on Wheels is cancelled for Tuesday.
