A passenger van and a four-door sedan collided on Iowa Highway 141 near Dallas County Hospital late Friday morning.
The Dallas County EMS examined the victims for minor injuries.
The crash occurred about 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Iowa Highway 141 at 10th Street near the Dallas County Hospital.
The van sustained significant passenger-side damage and came to rest in the north ditch of Iowa Highway 141 west of 10th Street.
The car sustained significant front-end damage and came to rest in the roadway of 10th Street on the north side of the state highway.
A witness said one of the vehicles attempted to cross the four-lane divided highway and was struck by a vehicle traveling on the highway.
The Perry Police Department and the Perry Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
