Verna Stracke, 68, of Grundy Center and formerly of Perry passed away peacefully Dec. 29, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Dawson.
A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
Verna was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Vehrs; husband, Eldon Stracke; and stepdaughter, Annette Rynes.
Verna is survived by her siblings, Janice (Gene) Miskimins, Rita Winkelpleck, Lois (Marvin) Miskimins, Cindy (Bob) Verkler and Larry (Nadya) Vehrs; daughters, Traci (Chris) Lillie, Lisa (Dave) Pierce and Nicole Hopwood; stepsons, Jeff (Kimmy) Stracke, Martin Stracke, Kevin (Lola) Stracke, Kenny (Joyce) Stracke and Joe Stracke; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a great lady. Met her at Dave and Lisa’s wedding. She made us feel very welcome, always had a smile. She will be missed. Ron& Maggie Ties
