The Dallas County Sheriff’s office has as identified the victim in the Tuesday homicide in rural Adel as Jakob Mash, 20, of Perry.
Mash was found deceased from a gunshot wound about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of K Avenue and 258th Street in rural Adel.
The investigation into Mash’s death is ongoing, the sheriff’s statement said.
