A new source for athleisure wear and comfort wear for women has opened in downtown Perry: Blonde Sisters Boutique at 1120 Second St.
Jayde Stewart Fellom of Perry and Phoebe Stewart of Perry are the blonde sisters behind Blonde Sisters, and they celebrated the launching of their new enterprise Thursday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We are really excited to open our business in our hometown,” said Stewart Fellom. “It’s been a crazy year, trying to get ready.”
She said they made a trip to Dallas in June in order to buy stock for the store, which also includes women’s shoes and locally designed t-shirts.
Stewart Fellom gave thanks to a number of supporters, including her husband, Kory Fellom, her fellow entrepreneur Emily Leslie and her family and in-laws for their moral and financial support in making the new store a reality. Jayde and Phoebe are the daughters of Jack and Danene Stewart of Perry.
Blonde Sisters Boutique is open Mondays through Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
