As part of the 18th Annual Veteran’s Day Celebration Wednesday at the Perry Performing Arts Center, the crowd was treated to the following toe-tapping rendition of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.”
On trumpet are former PHS music director Steve Cook and PHS senior Alonzo Lumbreras, with Perry Middle School music director Lisa Christensen on trombone while current PHS music director Brandon Weeks tinkles the ivories.
The trio of ladies providing a the Andrew Sisters-like vocals are, from left, Jenn Nelson, Shaylena Bell and Jenny Adair, all PHS teachers. Enjoy!
