Some of youngsters who attended the Vacation Bible School hosted by First Baptist Church sing a song they learned during the celebration of the final day of camp Friday.

For five days youngsters attending the Vacation Bible School hosted by First Baptist church studied “From Prison to Palace: Joseph’s Journey in Egypt.” On Friday, the students, their parents and team leaders held a celebration ceremony, which began with the youth singing songs they had learned while being reminded of what they had been taught, with an emphasis on forgiveness.

A bounce house was stationed outside the church for the kids to play in afterwards, although the dunk tank — youth leader Brandon Soll was the first victim — was also a popular attraction. An ice cream/sundae bar was also available and, unsurprisingly considering the weather, saw a steady stream of those happy to indulge.
