- China: 78,961 confirmed (331 new), 2,791 deaths (44 new)
- Outside of China: 4,691 confirmed (1,027 new), 51 countries (5 new), 67 deaths (10 new)
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the following numbers in the U.S. of COVID-19 cases as of Feb. 26:
- Total confirmed cases: 62 (3 Wuhan, China, 44 Diamond Princess, 12 travel-related, 3 person-to-person)
The Iowa Department of Public Health reported the following numbers in the U.S. of COVID-19 cases as of Feb. 26:
- Asymptomatic cases monitored: 13
