DES MOINES — The foursome of Dylan McCaulley, Worth Henry, Christian Husmann, and Dylan Bird placed sixth overall in the boys 2A state track meet with a final time of 1 minute, 31.74 seconds. The result produced three team points and was a season-best effort by the quartet.

Bird had also competed in the long jump. His best leap of 19 feet, seven inches was good enough for 18th overall.

Also in action for W-G was Mylee Lisle, who ran in both girls sprints. She did not advance from the preliminary heats but gained valuable experience after finishing in 13.78 and 27.88 ticks, respectively.
