The Woodward American Legion Auxiliary Unit 211 has announced the winners of its annual poppy poster contest for students in second through fifth grades at the Woodward-Granger Elementary School.
The posters were created using the poppy theme in order to honor U.S. military personnel and veterans for Memorial Day.
Poppy poster winners for 2016:
- Second Grade: Eva Neshner, Lilly Lovell, Genevieve Davidson and Abigail VanGundy
- Third Grade- Hannah Parkinson, Lauren Rodgers and Keilayla Gregory
- Fourth Grade- Georgia Simmon
- Fifth Grade- Tommy Teague, Ryan Fitch and Collin Nardini
Winning posters are on display at the Woodward Public Library.
