The W-G standout fired a 46 and had three pars to lead the hosts, who finished with a 249. Karley Jacobus had a 67 and Anna Nelson a 68 in their first varsity action for the Hawks, with Hannah Nelson also shooting 68.

Perry was led by Sarah Sweet’s 56, which included a par-3 on the 125-yard seventh hole at the Woodward Golf and Country Club. Laurann Perry had a 58, Caley Hager a 64 and Hannah Roberts a 67, with Skylar Cunningham adding a 79 that was not used for the team total.

Jayette head coach Joel Happel said he continues to see room for improvement.

“Perfect weather; I had hoped for some lower scores,” he said. “We are giving away too many strokes away around the greens. We need to chip and putt much better, that will be the quickest route to being more competitive.”

ADM’s taylor Boorn had a 43 to lead all scorers, with Ballard’s Madison Houge carding a 45 and Bermel the aforementioned 46 while ADM’s Lexi Owen had a 47 and Panorama’s Anna Koch a 48.
