WOODWARD — The Woodward-Granger softball team will host the winner of South Hamilton vs. South Hardin in a Class 2A Region 5 Quarterfinal July 6. The winner advances to the semifinal round at Pella Christian July 8 to face either the 10th-ranked hosts or Madrid. The Regional Final will be played at the highest seed July 11, with defending champion and fifth-ranked Iowa City Regina the lead team on the top half of the R5 bracket.
