Funeral services for Warren Michael Lamphiear, 37, of Athens, Ga., will be Saturday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, the home of Andrea’s grandparents, Chuck and Dina Hastings. Burial with full military honors will be in the Jefferson, Iowa Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday all day, with family present from 4-7 p.m. Lunch and fellowship will follow the cemetery services at Andrea’s grandparents, Tom and Jeanette Flack.

Warren died suddenly Friday, March 15, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Hastings Lamphiear; four children, Max (7), Ben (5), Sam (3) and Charlotte (11 months); mother, Lana (Kelvin) Chanarkasingh of Hickory Grove, S.C.; father, Mark (Rebecca) Lamphiear of Gastonia, N.C.; brother, George (Sarah) Lamphiear of Raleigh, N.C.; sisters, Veronica (Pete) Michel of Huntersville, N.C., and Kara (Alex) Morehouse of Cherryville, N.C.; mother-in-law Cathy Tobin (Brian Wambold) of Perry; brother-in-law, Cole (Laura) Hastings; and niece, Dakota, and nephew, Levi, of Maxwell, Iowa; Andrea’s grandparents, Tom and Jeanette Flack of Jefferson and Chuck and Dina Hastings Jefferson/Perry; Warren and Andrea’s aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many friends.

Instead of cards, if you could write something about Warren, a fun memory, his best qualities or what you loved most about him, it would mean a lot to our family, especially to me and our children. I want to help them understand as they get older how much Warren meant to everyone and what an amazing human he was.
