The Washington Township School Foundation will host their annual soup supper and pie auction Saturday, Jan. 12 from 5-7 p.m., with the pie auction starting at 6:15 p.m.
The annual fundraiser supports the upkeep of the 96-year-old schoolhouse, which operated from 1923 to 1958. The Washington Township Consolidated School then consolidated with the Minburn Independent School District to form the Central Dallas Community School District.
Further school district consolidation brought Central Dallas together with the Adel School District and the DeSoto School District in 1990 to form the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District, commonly known as ADM.
Washington Township Consolidated School is located seven miles south of Perry on County Road P58.
