The Perry Water Works released the following statement at 3:10 p.m. Thursday:
Effective immediately, the precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted.
The areas that were included in the advisory were:
- Portions of 15th and 16th streets between Otley Avenue and Iowa Street
- Portions of Estella Street and Otley Avenue between 14th and 16th streets
- Homes on the east side of 16th Street between Otley and Willis avenues
- Some of the homes on Otley Avenue between 16th and 17th streets
Bacteriological sampling has been completed and the water is again safe to consume.
