A Waukee woman was arrested Saturday after allegedly assaulting a Dallas Center woman in rural Adel.
Kaela Ros Schultz, 24, of 779 Ashby Dr., Waukee, was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
According to court records, the incident occurred about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 29500 block of R Avenue in Adel, where Schultz allegedly “punched the victim in the face several times.”
Dallas County Deputy Sheriffs observed on the victim “a bloody nose and a bruised face from being struck,” according to court records.
Schultz was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 22 in Dallas County District Court.
