The Wells Fargo in Perry celebrated its newly established membership in the Perry Chamber of Commerce Friday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its downtown branch at 1224 First Ave.
“We’re excited to be part of the Perry Chamber network,” said Omega Sang, manager of the Perry branch. Sang, a Jefferson native, said she also manages the Jefferson branch of Wells Fargo and knows the Perry area well.
Sang was joined at the ceremony by Wells Fargo District Manager Derrick Beechum, Regional Services Consultant Vicki Watters, Service Manager Brenda Aragon, Lead Teller Ariel Atkins and about half-a-dozen more figures from the Perry branch.
Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti presided over the ribbon. Other Chamber members attending were Nancy Armstrong, Marcus Carris, Joe Cerwinske, Lou Hoger, Emily Leslie, Amy Nath, Matt Rohe and Jim Caufield of ThePerryNews.com.
A very tasty coffee cake was served with coffee.
