Mitchell Ryan Thomas, 40, of 277 S. 79th St., West Des Moines, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident occurred about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of S. 79th Street, where Thomas allegedly “grabbed the victim’s wrists, resulting in a bruised and swollen left wrist as well as redness on the neck,” according to court records.
