West Des Moines man arrested for allegedly endangering 5-year-old

Bradley Craig Wildin, 35, of West Des Moines was arrested Wednesday on a charge of child endangerment.

A West Des Moines man was arrested Wednesday on a Dallas County warrant in connection with a June incident in which he allegedly endangered a 5-year-old child.

Bradley Craig Wildin, 35, of 8601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, was charged with child endangerment.

According to court records, Wildin allegedly broke the law June 9 “by consuming, being under the influence and having available controlled substances in the presence of” the 5-year-old victim.

Wildin’s “physical state was such that he required medical attention,” according to court records.

A warrant for Wildin’s arrest was ordered July 1 in Dallas County District Court and served July 28. Wildin is held in the Dallas County Jail without bond. He is scheduled for arraignment Aug. 12 in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
