A West Des Moines man and woman were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident shortly before midnight Saturday south of Redfield.
Andrew D. Hauge, 34, of West Des Moines was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Medical Center and Anna R. Hauge, 33, was transported to Mercy Medical Center by Dallas County EMS after the jeep they were ejected from the 2009 Jeep Wrangler they were riding in about 11:15 p.m.
The Hauges were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The accident occurred at 32434 South Old Highway 6 on property owned by Adam Rinehart, 34, of Redfield. Rinehart was driving the Jeep and apparently lost control, causing the vehicle to roll, according to a report by Iowa State Patrol Trooper Scott Bogdanski.
The location where the accident occurred on the 70-acre property has not been released. The Dallas County Sheriff’s office said Sunday additional details of the incident will be released Monday.
The accident is under investigation.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Redfield Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
