Perry senior Keghan West made it official Friday — he will play both baseball and basketball for Central College.
West signed a Letter of Intent during a ceremony in the Brady Library at PHS, where he was surrounded by friends, family, teammates and coaches.
He scored 116 points on the hardwood last season, an average of 5.8 points per game. His 160 rebounds created a per game rate of eight caroms per outing, and the senior had 20 steals and 15 blocked shots.
West threw 34-2/3 innings for the Bluejays last year, starting eight games and twice making a relief appearance. He had 25 strikeouts and allowed opponents to hit just .237.
