The National Weather Service (NWS) offices in Des Moines have issued a winter weather advisory for Greene County from 4 a.m. Sunday until 1 a.m. Monday and for Guthrie County from 10 a.m. Sunday until 7 a.m. Monday.
Snow is forecast up to four inches in the advisory area, with winds gusting to 20 mph, reducing visibility and making travel treacherous.
