A youth absconded Thursday evening about 7 p.m. from the Woodward Academy near Woodward.
According to law enforcement communication, the youth left in a small, gold car that was waiting for the youth in the vicinity of the academy.
No description of the youth was provided, and the direction of travel of the vehicle was unknown.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the Woodward Academy youth are asked to call the Woodward Police Department at 515-438-2545 or the Boone County Sheriff’s office at 433-0524.
