BOONE — The season for the Woodward-Granger girls golf team ended Monday at their Class 2A Regional Tournament, with senior Maggie Bermel just missing the right to advance to the Regional Finals as an individual.

Bermel had the sixth lowest individual score from among the seven teams in competition. Unfortunately only the five lowest individuals and ties advance, and Bermel’s 54-56–110 was one stroke shy of tying for fifth.

Aubrey Mescher had a 73-86–159 for the Hawks, with Anna Nelson shooting a 90-92–182 and Carley Jacobus a 90-103–193 as W-G finished at 644.

Ogden and South Central Calhoun advanced as teams after turning in totals of 441 and 446, respectively. Ridge View was third at 472, with Panorama (505), IKM-Manning (516), OA-BCIG (537) and W-G (644) completing the field.
