WOODWARD — A mechanical failure in the heating unit of the Woodward-Granger Middle School/High School has prompted district officials to cancel classes for Friday, Dec. 9. The cancellation is for the entire district.
Crews will be work through the weekend to fix the problems. The Hawks Nest will be open normal hours of operation.
The W-G girls/boys basketball teams will host Van Meter as scheduled, as the varsity gym and cafeteria area are heated by a different system, which is currently operating. The girls game will start at 6 p.m.
