Woodward woman charged with domestic abuse assault

Kimbra Kae Jimenez, 33, of Woodward was arrested Wednesday night on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.

A Woodward woman was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly injuring a man by pushing him into a stove.

Kimbra Kae Jimenez, 33, of 102 N. Maple St., Woodward, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.

The incident began about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Maple Street, where a Woodward Police Department officer responded to a report of a disturbance.

The arriving officer made contact with Jimenez, who was outside the residence.

Jimenez told the officer “that she pushed” the victim, causing “cuts on the back of his head,” according to court records.

The victim told the officer that Jimenez “pushed him, and he hit his head on the corner of the stove hood,” which “caused several cuts to his head,” according to court records.

Jimenez is held in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
