Zip line injury in Bouton brings air ambulance

An injured person was life flighted from the Bouton ballfield Tuesday night shortly after 10 p.m.

The Mercy One air ambulance service of Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines responded to a medical emergency in Bouton about 10 p.m. Tuesday when someone using a homemade zip line was injured.[wpedon id=”85410″ align=”left”]

The identity of the victim and circumstances of the unjury are unknown at this hour.

The Dallas County EMS treated the victim at the scene until the arrival of the air transport, which used the ballfields on Bouton’s west side as a landing pad.[wpedon id=”85410″ align=”left”]

The Woodward Police Department, Bouton First Responders and Dallas County Sheriff’s office also responded.
