  • A wireless 911 caller reported “an electrical fire.” Officers responded, and the Perry Volunteer Fire Department was paged.
  • Shera Dean Anderson, 25, 303 S. Grimmell Road, Jefferson, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
  • A caller said “his common-law wife” was “taking money out of his account,” and he “wanted to know his options.” An officer responded, determined “it was a joint account” and said “the only thing he can do is go get his own account in his name only.”
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer resonded and located the dog and its owner, who was seeking the dog. “The dog was returned to its owner.”
  • Curtis Wesley Jurgensen, 55, 1012 335th St., Woodward, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant on Perry Police Department charges of three counts of controlled substance violation, possession of ammonium chloride, two counts of failure to affix drug stamp, possesson of pseudoephedrine and possession of sodium hydroxide.
  • Sheryl Kay Palmer, 59, 300 Second St., Jamaica, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant on Perry Police Department charges of three counts of controlled substance violation, two counts of failure to affix drug stamp, possession of ammonium chloride, possesson of pseudoephedrine, possession of sodium hydroxide, possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said “her trailer slipped the hitch, and she is with her 80-year-old father.” An officer “responded and assisted.”
  • Brianna Raye Landals was issued a citation for no insurance.
  • A caller said “he was on a dating app, Plenty of Fish,” and “he and a female exchanged nude photos only to find out the female is under age after a Dallas County Deputy called and told him about it.” The caller said the deputy told him “he was going to jail and needed to contact the female’s father.” The caller said he called the father, who told the caller “to send him approximately $799, and the issue will go away.” An officer responded and “later confirmed it was not an actual deputy” who called the caller but “someone impersonating a Dallas County Deputy.” The officer “determined this was a scam” and advised the caller “to cease sending inappropriate photos and to not send any information or money to anyone.”
  • A caller said “her dad got a letter from an attorney where it stated that he was being sued.” The caller said “she believes it may have been sent to the wrong person.” An officer responded and advised the caller “to call the attorney’s office back and verify whom they were trying to make contact with.”
  • A caller from the Jefferson Police Department asked for assistance from the Perry Police Department in locating someone who sent his girlfriend a text, saying “that he was going to kill himself” and including “a picture of a shotgun or rifle.” Officers responded and were “then advised to disregard” when the caller called again and said the suicidal person was located in Jefferson.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
