Celebrating the successful passage through another Iowa winter, the Bouton Betterment Committee served up their trademark sausage, ham, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and toast Saturday morning, with coffee, milk and orange juice to wash it down.
The breakfast is a spring and fall tradition for the soon-to-be High Trestle Trail town of 135.
Adults pay $7 and children ages 5 to 12 pay $5. Kids under 5 eat for free. Proceeds from the three-hour feast support street improvements and beautification projects in Bouton.
The next Bouton breakfast will be May 4 from 7-10 a.m.
