  • A wireless 911 caller said “there is a group of people outside her home being loud and maybe drunk.” An officer responded and made contact withe the group of people, who said “they would stay inside and stay quiet for the rest of the night.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “he had hit a deer on Highway 141 near the Highway 169 area.” An officer responded and notified the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller said someone “is missing.” An officer responded, “located” the missing person “and took him home.”
  • A caller said his neighbor “let her dog out, and it defecated in his yard, and he stepped in it.” An officer responded and made contact with the neighbor, who said “she always picks up after her dog.” The neighbor added “that there are numerous other dogs in the neighborhood who defecate in the yard as well.” The neighbor “was advised to pick up after the dog if she wasn’t already doing so.”
  • A caller said “she went to vacuum, and it smelled like rubber and smoked like it was burning.” The caller “said someone maliciously placed fabric around the beater bar to cause the damage and wanted it on record.”
  • A caller said she caught a dog running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
  • A caller said her son “was assaulted in the back of their residence.” The caller said her son was “held down by three boys while” someone “hit him.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his dog wasn’t breathing, so they were taking him to the vet.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
