  • An officer located an open door at 505 E. Lincoln Way. The officer secured the door.
  • Congregate Meals reported a stray dog at 401 Greenewood Road. An officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.
  • Jo Cox reported the neighbor’s dog in her yard at 606 N. Olive St. An officer located an open door next door. The animal went back inside the residence, and the officer shut the door. No one was home at the time.
  • An officer responded to an alarm activation at 101 Lincoln Place. All was fine at the residence.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 400 block of Brackett Street.
  • Tammy Binkley requested officers at 802 W. Lincoln Way for a civil child custody issue occurring there.
  • A caller advised of yelling in the area of the 200 block of S. Maple Street. An officer did not locate anything in the area.
  • Brandi Hicks requested an officer at 604 Rushview Drive for a dispute with a neighbor’s child. An officer arrived and was able to assist the parties to a peaceful resolution in the matter.
  • Genesis Development reported a dog possibly left in a residence that was recently vacated. An officer learned a female still lives in the residence, and a family member also checks on the animal daily.
  • Dispatch received a 911 hang-up call from a cellular phone. It was determined a child was playing with the phone and no assistance was needed.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
