- Richard Elgersma of Winterset was traveling in the 36500 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

- Kristina Dawn Henson, 47, of 5950 S.E. 45th Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of theft.
