July 26, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a carless driving complaint on 235th Street near Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 2200 block of S Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted with a vehicle that rolled into the water at Spring Lake. There was no damage to the truck. Keaton Mosher, 32, of Callender left his truck in neutral, and it rolled down a hill and into the water.
  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of I Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street and S Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a car-deer accident on 230th Street near Quaker Avenue. Terri Ross, 59, of Grand Junction struck a deer with her 2015 Ford Edge, causing an estimated $3,000 damage.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Lincoln Street in Scranton.

July 27, 2019

  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 300 block of S. Seventh Street in Grand Junction. Michael McAtee, 57, of Grand Junction was arrested for first-offense domestic abuse assault. McAtee was booked into the Greene County Jail.
  • A deputy investigated a theft at Spring Lake.
  • A deputy investigated a theft at Spring Lake.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search of vehicle in the 200 block of W. Harrison Street.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a welfare check in the 1000 block of W. Adams Street.
  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of S. Wilson Street in Jefferson.

July 28, 2019

  • A deputy was called to assist with locating some keys at a retail store in Grand Junction. Gisela Guerrero, 52, of Dawson was arrested for public intoxication. Guerrero was booked into the Greene County Jail.
  • Brianne Wolf, 28, of Lohrville was booked into the Greene County Jail for disorderly conduct.
  • A deputy picked up a found wallet in the 400 block of Hendricks Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated a dog complaint at Hyde Park.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Sand Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy investigated a burglary in the 900 block of Linn Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a 911 hang-up in the 1100 block of N Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an assault in the 300 block of S. Seventh Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of D Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near Forrest Avenue. Warren Hass, 41, of Denison was driving east in his 2019 Chevrolet Silverado when he was rear ended by a 2008 Volkswagon Beetle driven by Sheral Coppick, 61, of Carroll. Sheral was transported by Greene County EMS to the Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries. A passenger in Hass’ truck was also transported with injures. The Iowa State Patrol assisted with the accident and is investigating Sheral for possible charges. The estimated damage to the truck was $3,000, and the estimated damage to the Beetle was $6,000.
  • A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 100 block of 190th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 2200 block of A Avenue.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
