- Miah Potratz of Waukee was stopped on 335th Street and waiting to turn left onto Waterberry Lane when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Kellan McGregor of West Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
October 3, 2019
- Katelynne Marie Hilleman, 19, of 302 Village Circle, Altoona, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of burglary.
- Danyel Denise Hardisty, 37, of 20260 220th St., Minburn, was cited and released with a court date in the 17000 block of J Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
October 4, 2019
- Janaska Bowels of Adel was traveling near the intersection of 280th Street and H Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
