- Ruth Ewing of Patterson was traveling east on Old Highway 6 near K Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

- Damon John Chambers, 43, of 504 10th St., Dallas Center, was arrested in the 23000 block of 230th Street for OWI.
- Darrin Clemens Spellman, 25, of 1002 Eighth St., Dallas Center, was arrested at 1912 Main St. in Granger for public intoxication.
- Baylor Osborn of Dallas Center was traveling north in the 20000 block of T Avenue when he lost traction, and his vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
December 15, 2019
- Patricia Danielle Logan, 26, of 429 E. Watrous Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Jesus G. Lopez-Toro, 30, of 903 Main St., Adel, was charged with assault on persons in certain occupations at this address.
