- Nicholas Huntington Sarchet, 38, of 9318 Red Sunset Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for purchase/possess depiction of a minor in sex act.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
A recent executive order signed by the president makes it a felony for deliberate animal cruelty and death. Bonnie and Jason Krull should each receive felony charges for each dog they intentionally starved to death. They should be imprisoned for their acts. If their victims were human, they would be facing life in prison. The fact that their victims were dogs should not diminish concern for the mindset and lack of conscience involved in the deliberate infliction of suffering and death.
