PHS Pulse Dance Team to perform at Thursday tournament

The PHS Pulse Dance Team is one of only 38 schools statewide to perform at the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union state basketball tournament this week.

The team will leave at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5 and will perform at the halftime of the 3:15 p.m. semifinal game in Des Moines. In addition, two Pulse dancers, Claire Southward and Aubree Tasler, will be practicing and performing with the All IA Honor Dance Squad on Friday and Saturday.

Seniors Beyonce Gonzalez, Jasmin Gonzalez, Maria Izquierdo, Sierra Newton, Sarah Vaughn; Juniors Eve Chavez, Shelby De La Cruz, Macie Mosher, Lindsey Oblea, Leslie Ramos, Claire Southward, Emma Stika, Aubree Tasler, Cindy Truong; sophomores Marielena Ramirez, Nubia Torres; freshmen Jaqueline Cresencio, Natalie Guardado, Rubi Hernandez and Kyla McKenzie.
